2 Dozen Fresh Mussels
½ Cups of Dry Vermouth
1 Whole Lemon
4 Ounces of 1 Stick of Butter
6 Ounces of Chopped Canned Clams w/ Juice
1 TSP of Spicelopedia™ Peri-Peri Seasoning
1 TBSP of Spicelopedia™ Peri-Peri Seasoning
Parmesan Cheese For Garnish
Fresh Parsley, Chopped for Garnish
6 Ounces of Spaghetti, Linguine, or other Long Pasta
3 Tsp of Peri Peri Seasoning
Instructions
Preheat skillet to medium hot.
Add the cleaned Mussels.
Steam the mussels, covered, until they open. Discard any that don’t.
Slice the lemon and squeeze the slices into the pan. Add lemon slices to pan.
Add the peri-peri compound butter, chopped clams, clam juice and Peri-Peri seasoning.
Serve immediately over cooked pasta.
