Root Beer Schnapps Marinated Ribeye

Equipment: Oven safe pan/Oven


  • 6 Ounces of Ribeye Steak (2 Steaks)
  • ⅓ Cups of Root Beer Schnapps, or preferred root beer
  • 1 Tbsp of Lemon
  • 3 Tbsp of Spicelopedia® Peri-Peri Seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp of Light Brown Sugar
  • ½ Tsp of Lite Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp of Butter slices
  • ¼ Cups of Scallions


Step One

Combine all ingredients except for butter and half of the seasoning. Add steaks.  Marinate for at least an hour. Turning the steaks once.

Step Two

Dry off steaks with a paper towel and rub remaining seasoning on both sides.

Step Three

Preheat the gas grill or charcoal grill to 450 degrees.

Step Four

Grill; steak to 130 temp to medium rare.

Step Five

Top with butter before serving
