Air-Fried Oysters Recipe
An air fried oyster is a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional deep-fried oysters. - Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees.
If oysters are in shell, shuck. Pat oysters dry with paper towel.
Mix the breadcrumbs with the seasoning.
Add egg to buttermilk to the same bowl. Whisk to combine.
Add Flour to a third bowl.
Dip oyster into the egg and buttermilk mixture, shake off excess.
Dip oyster into the flour. Shake off excess.
Dip oyster into the Panko, seasoning mixture. Press the breadcrumbs into the oyster.
Repeat until all oysters are coated.
Spray air fryer basket with Avocado Oil Cooking Spray.
Add oysters to basket. Air-fry for 4 minutes. Flip and continue to cook for 3-4 minutes more until oysters are golden brown.
As soon as the oysters come out of the air fryer, suggest sprinkling them with a little lemon juice. Serve additional lemon on the side.
