Peri Peri Chicken Sliders Recipe

Tender pulled rotisserie chicken combined with sauteed onion, tomato sauce, smoked mustard, and Spicelopedia™ Peri Peri Chicken seasoning.
Ingredients

1 medium onion, finely diced
- 1, 15 oz. can plain tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1 tsp. Smoky mustard (or preference)

1 Tbsp. Spicelopedia™ Peri Peri Seasoning
- 1 prepared roasted chicken from your favorite store, skin removed, shredded
- 12 each choice of slider buns
Directions
Liberally coat a large skillet with nonstick oil spray and warm over medium-high heat.
- Add the diced onion and sauté until soft and lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Add the tomato sauce, tomato paste, and mustard. Mix in the shredded chicken.
- Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until the chicken in sauce is hot and the sauce has slightly thickened. Taste. If the chicken isn’t spicy enough, add more seasoning. It can also be sweetened with a Tbsp. of maple syrup.
- To assemble sliders, add 1/4 cup scoops on small-sized buns and enjoy while watching your favorite team win!
