Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. light olive oil
- 1 cup pre-diced tomato trinity (diced tomato, green bell pepper and onion), fresh from
- your grocery store produce section or frozen
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 cup cola
- ¼ cup Spicelopedia™ Southwest Zesty Fiesta seasoning
- 15.5 oz. can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 10 oz. can diced tomatoes with lime, cilantro, and green chiles
- ¼ cup water (optional if you want a saucier chili)
Directions
- Add olive oil and trinity to a Dutch oven or soup pot. Sauté for about 3 minutes.
- Brown the ground turkey.
- Deglaze the pan with the cola.
- Add the seasoning, beans, canned tomatoes, and water.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer, covered, for about 20-25 minutes, stirring once.
