Ingredients
- 12 large 16-20 P&D shrimp, defrosted
- 3 bell peppers (yellow, red, green), cut into 1 inch squares or rectangles
- 1 onion, cut into 1-2 inch squares or rectangles
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. Spicelopedia™ Southwest Zesty Fiesta seasoning
- 4 skewers
Directions
- Place shrimp, peppers, and onions in a stainless steel bowl and toss all with 2 Tbsp. olive oil.
- Skewer 3 shrimp per skewer with alternating peppers and onions on each (4 skewers total). Season both sides of the skewers liberally with Spicelopedia™ Southwest Zesty Fiesta seasoning.
- Cook skewers on a flat top grill or flat pan approximately 3 minutes per side or until shrimp opaque and firm to the touch.
Recipe Note
(1) If using wooden skewers, be sure to soak them in water 30 minutes to 1 hour before using to prevent splintering and burning.
(2) Delicious served over rice.
