Ingredients

1 Standing Rib Roast (about 6-7 lbs.)

Directions
Preheat the oven to 475 degrees. Rub the gravy base all over the roast covering well. Season with Spicelopedia Brisket Seasoning on all sides. Add more seasoning if desired.
- Place the seasoned roast on a wire rack in a roasting pan. Insert a meat thermometer into the center of the roast. Place the roast in the oven and immediately turn down the temperature to 325 degrees.
- Bake for 2-2 1/2 hours. Remove when internal temp reaches 135F, for medium doneness. (Temp will go up about 10 degrees after removing from oven, from 135F to 145F)
- Let the roast stand for 10 minutes before slicing to absorb juices.
